Yes, most sportbikes can use frame sliders but most are designed specific to each bike.

Frame sliders are ok for low speed accidents and will also save the engine cases if you drop your bike.

They really pay off for those stupid mistakes like dropping your bike in the garage.

On many bikes the engine cases come in contact with the ground and crack. The engine oil will them leak all over the ground and your stuck. The sliders help prevent this too.

Not all frame sliders work well. The metal are NOT as good as the plastic. Some will damage the frame or bend. Some will even snap off and crack the frame.

I recommend the frame protectors at the top left. They are lower in cost and out perform the others.

I would also recommend the swingarm spool sliders. These are good as sliders and rear lifts. –

There are universal framesliders that will fit "all" sportbikes but then again you usually have to cut things that were not ment to be cut. If you have a popular sport bike like R1, R6, CBR 600, 636, GSX-R 600, then there is a frameslider for your bike. However less popular bikes like the ninja 250 for example you would have to use a universal one and have to cut and move things around.

I believe that it will fit any Japense bike, i.e. Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki from model years 96 and up. I doubt they go on Harleys, Indians, ect.

As long as the cylinder head, of the engine, is bolted to the frame. That's where the frame sliders bolt to - the upper motor mount.
