Had a dream last night where i was talking to the "other side" through a mirror. The first dancing teacher that I had died when I was 12, and she appeared in my dream. I was trying to talk to her and remind her of who I was, and I was telling her that I grew up to be a professional dancer and that I teach with her daughter, but she didn't remember me. I have never had a dream where I am in anyway connected to anyone who has passed on- in fact it terrifies me. I know many people say they feel comforted after such dreams, but I felt scared. Anyone know what it could mean?

I think it means that you are connecting with a projection of your idea of that person that is actually from your own subconscious. The fact that the person didn't remember you may have to do with your own deep held belief that this person wouldn't remember you. Think of all the times your subconscious mind has created personalities which you have interracted with in dreams. It seems likely that this entity was no different- a dream character rather than a real figure from beyond.
If you accept the dream as being literal, then you must accept that in the afterlife people are somewhat the same and have the same mundane memory problems. I find that hard to believe but of course you have to come to your own conclusions about something as mysterious as this.

It means that you should stay in touch with those that mean a lot to you. Keep contact regularly and frequently, or you will feel guilty when they're gone. We all want to feel like we had an impact on people in our past, so let people you care about now, know that they are significant and have an impact on your life. Give others what you wish for yourself.

Stop trying to communicate with dead people. When people are dead, they are dead, there is no other conscious part of them alive. Only the demons take up the body of dead people and try to fool us to think that they are not dead.
