I LOVE giving gifts, seeing peoples faces when they get them, just knowing how much I love getting presents makes me love giving them. Even if I can't see people when they get my gifts. I still love giving them. I mean yeah, I love receiving gifts too, but I think the best gift is to give.

I believe that when you give to another you are blessing them ,and yourself. To give is by far a greater feeling than receiving ,but you are selfish if you are always giving. You must also gratefully receive from others so they in turn can experience the gift of giving. And so receiving and knowing their joy of giving can be equally as good as giving.
Set an example for others by giving and they will discover the joy by following your example. And when you in turn receive from them you will know the joy they get from giving to you and therefore receiving can also be the best!
Remember it has to start with YOU.
Having small children and always giving to them. They are still small ,but will create the most wonderful gifts for their Mother ,that money could never buy made from cardboard, paper, their own artistic talent. But seeing their joy when I receive that gift with as much enthusiasm as when I got them a bike or a Barbie is more joy to me than ever being the gift er. They have learned to give from me and I will receive that "gift" with more pleasure than anthing materialistic. Remember I had to give first to receive this.
Giving and Receiving are one in the same. You cannot be happy always giving unless you also be happy receiving.

I like to receive gifts, who doesn't? But it makes me feel way better to give.

I think its better to give so that you can see the look on another person's face when you give them the gift. It really makes a person happy.

Everyone loves to recieve a gift. But it is better to give, I love the look on peoples faces when they see what I have gotten them.

It's always better to give than receive, by giving you never whose life you might be changing and how they may effect someone else. When you give free it will be given back to you good measures pressed down and running over.

Definitely to give. Receiving is good too, but just not as good as giving.

giving is great when they love the gift. but everyone likes getting gifts too.
