Hot! It just looks sexy and exotic to me. I prefer it over the nose or cheek piercing. I don't associate it with any kind of untoward behavior, although I would assume the girl to be a bit edgy and adventurous.
I live in Austin, Texas, I'm 32, I'm a professional with an advanced education.

I like girls with piercings, but not too many. the eyebrow and nose rings I think look the best. I don't mind lip piercings as long as they don't get in the way of a good kiss. Anyways, as long as the piercing is small and doesn't get in the way or cause problems later on, I find it quite attractive.
As far as other piercings, nipple peircings are fun to play with, but thats about it, same thing with any lower piercings. And I advise keeping piercings to a minimal. There is such thing as too much of a good thing. When a girl's body has more metal than my truck, I find it to be a huge turn-off.
And if you must know about my personal background, you can look up my Y! 360 page anytime sweetcheeks. I think there is a link to it on my Answers profile.

To be honest with you, I don't like it. It seems like a waste of time and money. Originally people got piercings to be different from everyone else, now that so many people have them, people are doing it to be like everyone else. My advice is just be yourself, and don't look to define yourself with piercings, tattoos, etc.

No, none of the reasons you listed.
I just see yet another person who is a follower of trends...someone who lacks the individuality to express themselves in totally unique ways... a person who is so unsure of themselves that they must resort to ridiculous ways of expressing themselves.
My age and location of residence is irrelevant, just as it is irrelevant on what a person looks like.
If you want to get a pierced brow, that is your business.
You sound as if you are a person who is very unsure of themselves and in search of answers.
Try looking inward, not outward.
The mass media and all those people trying to look hip will do nothing for you in the long run.
Shakespeare said it best: "above all, to thine own self, be true".
