Strung Out and Modest Mouse are my two absolute favorite bands. Strung Out is a really good punk band from California and Modest Mouse is an awesome alt band from Washington.
The best album from Strung Out is "An American Paradox" with "Twisted By Design" as a close second.
I think the best Modest Mouse album is "The Moon and Antartica" although "Building Nothing Out of Something" is really great also.
I have to agree that Bad Astronaut is awesome as well.
