Depends on what you define as "world" and "ends". As in the industrial revolution was a world that ended around the turn of the 20th century. If we are defining it as everything on the planet dying, then you may not really comprehend it depending on how suddenly it happens, you may find yourself onto the next stage of existence(whatever your beliefs are).
