I am asking because my current boyfriend is the only man that i know that loves to cook and clean. I LOVE IT! However, while leaving with my step father and younger brother it was hell because my step dad thought women should clean after men thats basically why we don't get along at all!

from a mans point of view, if he does not or has not then he must be young and ignorant, its a part of life to share. if he loves you then without a question he should help around the house as well as cook, serve breakfast, lunch dinner, and sometimes these in bed. what the heck is wrong with men that they think this is not ok? you love him? he love you? share the experience and enjoy.

When I was living w/my boyfriend he loved to cook as well, and I loved it. My father also does the same thing. He works, cooks and cleans. I believe that when men cook they don't cook just to feed the kids or the wife they do it because they have a passion for it. I think you should take advantage of it and appreciate what he does.

My kids help me clean more then my man, I love my man but I wish hed help me out with some of the housechores because after working 40 hours a week, taking care of kids, going to college and taking care of all the cleaning and laundry Iam one drained individual.

Absolutely. We share everything. He chooses to do the laundry, the dishes and run the vacuum. I do the dusting, the folding and putting away, and the bathrooms. I do most of the cooking, but he is great on the bar-b-q grill.

if I ask him he does. He plays video games and works most of the time but he understands I work and go to school so if I write a list he will have it done before I get home.

YES! He helps with cooking ans cleaning. And thank god he does! We both work full time and we need to work together. If we didn't we would be HUNGRY AND living in FILTH!

No but he works hard all week long and I have the luxury of staying home to maintain the house and raise my kids

Yes, my husband is in the kitchen, as I write, cleaning the cabinets and fridge. He says I do not do it right; so I am just happy as heck for him to do it his way.

Sometimes, but not often though. He does vacuum if it is needed, but only if I ask. Sometimes I feel like the live in maid.

well me and my boyfriend live together I do all the major cleaning hes on trash duty and things like that
