To actually think that Iraq was invaded for anything else but their OIL?
If this is not the case why have they remained deathly silent over North Korea?

Just the sort of stupid remarks I was expecting. Thanks Americans for not disappointing me!

I ask in an attacking maner as you call it because so many Yanks on here seem to be totally brainwashed into thinking that this is all for their protection! When really all it's doing is increasing the likelyhood of further attacks on their mainland!

what makes your question so great is that it seems the americans answering don't know what to say, or better what they are saying...

one says well north korean doesn't call americans names, therefore isn't a threat... WRONG!!!! they do! and are a real threat to US secturity if they have a nuclear bomb. saddam on the other hand never threated the US. and what about Chavez who is currently calling bush satan... shouldn't he be bombed as well.

another mentions 911, but every one knows that iraq had absolutely nothing to do with it and had no connections with islamic extremists! infact the islamic extremists are only too happy to see him on death row!!!

and then there is the 'oh we do so much for the world' gamit... ww2 bla bla... well the US had no intention of entering the war to help us europeans... they only entered it because of pearl harbour. so, no change there then. as for charity and aid to the world, though in $$$ it looks alot... americans are ths stingiest nation on the planet as the amount given per capita is well below all other 1st world countries, so if they did retract their charity to the world, it wouldn't be much of surprise really.

ooooooooooooooooooooh! so much ignorance!!! if it wheren't for the fact that they haven't just threated their own security, but europe's as well, i'd feel sorry for them, but as it is ... i'm angry, very angry. what is nice though is that the enlighted few do actually apologise for their ignorant nation.

I don't understand why the U.S. has to be the only country with enough balls to go handle this world's situations. Why doesn't some other powerful country go and take care of the Korean situation? I guess they're waiting for the U.S. to so they can continue to have a country to point fingers at. I love this country. I'd also love to see how all these 3rd world countries can take care of themselves without our aid, whether it be medical, food, military, or whatever. I say we back off and pull all of our military back to our country, defend our own borders, and see how quickly the rest of the world burns in it's own ashes. Geesh, people are so naive to believe what the media tells them. I'm smart enough to realize that 90% of what the media talks about is bullshit. I'm also smart enough to know that 90% of what the government does will remained classified. So people can rant and rave and ***** and moan, but nobody will ever know the truth. So get over it.

Are you so naive to think that YOU know the whole story to the Iraq war and lack of war in North Korea? There is a lot more to the story than we are shown. Sometimes things are not as obvious as you they seem.
How else do you expect peoplet o respond when you are so clearly asking in an attacking manner?

So, we are again shown how stupid and shallow the rest of the world is. War for oil indeed - that moronic soundbyte's been dead and buried by anybody with a functioning brain for 4 years now.

If you think it's strictly about WMD, and not about the repeated violations of the ceasefire, the UN resolutions and the support for terrorism, then you're even less educated than we previously gave you people credit for. That's why Nazism, fascism and communism thrive in the rest of the world - ignorance and susceptibility to any inane propaganda.

i don't think of American squaddies are naive. i might want to communicate about that your complete question is in protecting with rumour and the opinion of one British soldier. actual this British guy did not communicate Iraq with each and every American Soldier there? believe me, there are a selection of yank squaddies who do not toe the authorities line. i'm one, and obviously the in straight forward words reason that this area of the international concerns is oil, so certain that is an underlying reason. devoid of oil, the middle East might want to be about as significant strategically as sub-saharan Africa. The conflict change into fought for bogus causes, yet no longer to get oil as is regularly said. fairly it change into to instill democracy in the middle of an fairly undemocratic area. the perception is that poor disaffected human beings in the middle East who wade through less than authoritarian regimes are appropriate recruits for terrorists. so that you position in democratic governments to blame to the individuals and Al Qaeda loses recruits. (no matter if you imagine that would artwork truly is yet another argument, yet that is the reason i imagine the conflict change into fought). yet you haven't in any respect confident the US to bypass to conflict in Iraq over setting up democracy so fairly we were given this tale about WMDs and an Iraq-9/eleven connection etc.

gw invaded iraq so he could easily confuse the many stupid people in the US into thinking it has something to do w terrorism and that he is kickin the terrorists ***. this was helpful (crucial) for his reelection.

as far as him getting oil, thats not the scam. the scam is the billions spent on the rebuilding of the country. billions in no bid contracts to companies like halliburton. this effort has been abandoned by the way, due to its dismal failure. talk about the perfect scam.

yup, they are naive, I guess they don't know that their own oil resources are going to end in 10 years

they don't remember that Iraq never threatened their country

they think that they can do whatever they want to

oh and the most important thing - they believe their stupid president

they couldn't make a deal with saddam because that would just say that they are there for oil, and since they started war they had to finish it somehow, saddam's death penalty seemed for them as a very good result - punishment of the guilty

they think that their democracy can work all over the world and don't get it that ARAB countries are NOT like that AT ALL

I just wish we would do what everyone wants us to. That is to pull our troops out of all foreign nations, and then our doctors, money, food, products, etc. Leave the world free from us totally, then when another humanitarian crisis shows up, you guys can deal with it, when peace keepers are needed, send the french. When a country desperately needs money and food, let the Germans or British send what they have laying around. When you have an outbreak of deadly disease, let the Russians fix the problem. When Europe needs it's a** bailed out of another war, we won't come to help.
