I like the part where the guy got killed by falling glass and when whoopie goldberg was giving the check to the nuns , the rest of the movie sucked

People like the movie Ghost because it is romantic and funny all in one. Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore were terrific together. Whoopi is such a great actress. I think that women are inclined to like this movie than men.

I think mostly women like the movie because it is romantic and just very touching the way they love each other so much. Everyone wishes for love like that.

I agree.
They use the concepts of love and loss to make up for bad plot lines and poor character development.
That way, if you don't like it, everyone makes you feel like some sort of unfeeling robot (silvcubo) for seeing it for what it was.
Yes Robert O, there are women out there whose favorite movies are Terminator 2 and Lethal Weapon 4, which is my sister. I myself live for horror.

The movie did kinda suck, but Patrick Swayze is so hot that you forget.
The scene where they were at the potter's wheel so sensuous.
My other fav thing like that is in Phenomenon.
When that lady is shaving John Travolta.
uuummmmm!!!
That kinda stuff is hotter than seeing them hit the sheets!!

Because it is a great love story. It is very sad I always cry when I watch it, but still think it's a great movie.

ROMANCE-- every woman wants a man to love her like that.
the movie itself was not all that great, but the principle behind it is.
