I just want to reply to agree with you really. I feel ashamed to be part of the human race so much of the time. I would also like to apologise. Though I do do a bit - work at a Wildlife Rescue, previous work at Cats Protection and Compassion in World Farming, and supporting various charities, I still feel I should do more.
I of course also support human charities, but I don't hold humans above animals, I hold us all equal. We should be lower if anything, as we have the voice to do something, yet we don't. And what have the animals done to the needy people in this world? Nothing, unless it's comfort the alone and sick. It's other humans who've done it to them.
So, I proudly and humbly join your apology - maybe you should join the 'Rainbow Bridge' candle ceremony. Every Monday you light three candles for the animals in the world who have gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. One for your animals, one for your friend's animals, and one for those animals who the human race lets down - all those animals abused and not loved. It is based on a Christian prayer, but I'm not Christian, and I still do it, it's just something for togetherness.

If you want to feel humbled then read this - http://www.petloss.com/welcome.htm.

No, why are you assuming that all humans should apologies for something that somebody else has done?
I have never in my life harmed an animal, why should you apologize if you have never harmed an animal?
I AGREE that animals HAVE had a hard time but It makes me sick that people are more concerned over animal rights then human rights. Yes there IS a lot of animal suffering , but there are also little innocent HUMAN children dying from starvation and disease all over the world.
These children aren't responsible for any animal suffering, should they apologize to the animals while they lie in little shack surrounded by filth starving to death? Can't you spare any pity for THEM?
I understand that its frustrating to see people go on about how cute kittens and puppies are and then completely ignore anything to do with conservation BUT shouldn't human life be valued above animal life?

Sure there are things that bother us, animal abuse is definately something that is horrible and weighs heavy on my mind of "what do you actually do". The thing about it is really you can't save the world, but what you can do is support those organizations that help animals. If you feel so strongly about this to make a difference have you ever considered it as career, or perhaps volunteering?

I agree and would like to apologize as well. Although if I may apologize for the rest of the humans as well as I'm sure most of them won't. Don't you wish there was something we could do to stop all the cruelty? Slap someone up and say look you morons knock it off! I say go ALF!!

God bless you dear, kind Juliette. The Lord sees what is in your heart....unfortunately you cannot change the world...but you can share your feelings with close friends and hopefully they will follow through with the kindness, and pass this message on to others.
