This is my new standard format response for myspace users. First, if you had spent more time studying while you were in school, you wouldn’t have to ask questions about myspace. If you spent more time on your homework and less worrying about why so-and-so has more “internet friends” you might be less concerned with the proxy server bypass that will let you use your schools computer for non-school related activities. When you graduate and get a job so you can afford to buy a computer and pay for internet access I guarantee you myspace will be the least of your concerns. Until said time (if you graduate) quit wasting my tax money by studying myspace more than you study your grammar. Yes, it is my tax money that pays for your education. Chances of you being a prep-school/private school kid and not having one-on-one supervision while you update your myspace is about 4 million to 1. If it really is that important that you have to access it during school hours, why even go to school? Ask mommy and daddy if you can stay home tomorrow and flirt with child predators online. I am sure they won’t mind. Lastly, if this standard format response does not apply to your particular myspace question, oh well, I guess I won’t have you on my top five list, huh?

The only way to bypass websense is to go to an address which it does not block. The problem is that any site which is not recognised is reported back to websense so even if you find a proxy which works it will usually be added in a few days and you have to look for another one.

Your school has blocked certain sites for a reason.

Maybe there are pedophiles there, or there is stuff that has too much sex and violence for the younger kids at your school.

If the school is blocking "everything" you want to see, then you have some piss-poor taste in internet pages. There is a lot of cool stuff out there.

MySpace is not the be-all and end-all of the universe. Neither is You-Tube, or Rotten.com. Try asking your school what sites ~are~ allowed. You might actually find something FUN out there.

Most schools purchase hardwired censored systems now. No one can bypass the censor. Not even the admin. If your particular station is a smart station, you might download another browser but the censor would still block.

well, that person that has that huge long answer is a jack ***, but anyway, if you can download stuff on your school computer, download a different internet browser and you should be able to, if you remember to make a desktop shortcut, to download some things (cant tell exactly :P), but search for bypasses and download through the new browser, by downloading the browser, you can most of the time bypass the admin block of downloading.

you can't. Even if you did any of the teachers could track everything you go on, considering most schools are run by 1 server.

Unless you're the admin of the network, you won't.
...I'm sure you'll be carted out of your school in a strait jacket any minute now...
