Gather up pictures from everyone you can think of who knows them - from different points in their lives, and make them one heck of a scrap book! Or, if the restaurant is their main place to be, how about framing some family pictures, that they can display in their office -- or a little photo album, to keep closeby, so that if someone inquires about their family, they can pull it out, and show their customers the people who are most important to them. Or, you could do something different, and have them sent fresh flowers every month - or a basket of fruit, cookies, etc. on a monthly basis. Good luck!

Well, I would get my dad things for working out, (depending on age) if your dad is a little bit older, get him a watch or nice suit, and I would get my mom a beautiful basket full of things she likes like some bath things. Another gift I would get for my parents together is a nice date night. Maybe to olive garden or a really nice fancy restraunt. Like smartbluewater said "Its not about how much $$ was spent; its about the quality of the gift.".

I found the neatest thing to get my parents.
It is the new "digital frame" it is neat. The little frame displays pictures, video's. etc..I think even you can record some sounds to it to... neat little divice. The cost was about 110 dollars.
If not, I'd look into some day spa's, and get a "him", and "her" day spa treat??
Hope you like the answers, I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses.

I'm a grandmonther and the best gift I ever get are photos of my grandchildren. Why not arrange a sitting and have a portrait of your parents and children together. Include yourself and your spouse and have a portrait of the whole family. It is a gift that is guaranteed to please and one they will never tire of.

Get them a nice bottle of their favorite wine or champagne and wrap it with a note saying that you donated the remaining money in their name to their favorite charity in honor of the season. (You gave them a tax deduction!) Thats what you give those who have everything!

What about pictures? New pictures or maybe a collage of old pictures of you, you & them, or you, them, & their grandkids. Whatever! I work in public safety and have too often heard folks say they wish they had pictures of this or that or pictures of someone when...
They have a restaurant? How about pictures of them from when they started it to now or pictures of their loyal customers/friends?
Just a thought.

give them your time. plan a nice evening for them; write them a poem telling them how much they mean to you titled 'priceless', and frame it, send them pictures of the kids dressed in their best and frame it. It's not about how much $$ was spent; it's about the quality of the gift. I still have my kids finger card they made for me in grade school 'priceless'. Love can not be brought or sold.
