First of all racism has nothing to do with anthropology. How would you define anthropology by the way?Racism or theories of different races one being superior to others has been around for ages until some french guy wrote a book defining it.The book was called 'La Race' and I don't care who wrote all that filth because he got a serious jail sentence after WW2.Hitler borrowed some of it for his own satanically perverted version of it in 'Mein Kampf'.In fact the way we use the word today often means something quite else.Unequal opportunity in general is not always due to people thinking they are superior over others necessarily but a legacy of bad economics and bad manners and the attitude of indifference that is common in adults these days as well as their lack of good reading. If law enforcement would actually combat discrimination people who do so these offenders would find more reason to do it even. That is how bad people are....The definition is the idea of a certain subspecies of the human race (neonazi's for instance) that they are superior to others

Most people and dictionaries probably define racism as discriminating or othertwise treating people badly on the basis on their skin. This is true, but racism is really just treating people differently on the basis of their skin. This could be a prefernce, or just a 'seperate but equal' deal, only actually equal. Either way, racism should be/is also defined as generally being without merit.

My definition? Small minded opinions, about others, based on fear instead of love. Executed by those who DO NOT seek knowledge, and have NO understanding on what it means to be humane. The exact type that are screwing things up all over the world spreading their HATE and monstrosity wherever and whenever they get the chance. An act I would NEVER participate in, and I pity those that do.

Said with love...

The attributing of characteristics of superiority or inferiority to a population sharing certain physically inherited characteristics .racism is one specific form of prejudice , focusing on physical variations between people.Racist attitudes became entrenched during the period of colonial expansion by the west ,but seem also to rest on mechanisms of prejudice and discrimination found in very many contexts of human societies

racism is about race. there are white people, blacks, asiens and so on. example: a person from south america can't say a french person being racist to the south american. reason: the spaniards of south america had ansestors come from spain. In spain the spaniards are considerd white people. samething with italiens, they have draker skin than those from nother europe but they are white. a black person can call a white person racist and vise versa. samething with asiens and white, asien and black. and many other races. therefor racism always about skin color, but the ethnic background of the person and their ansestors.
