1/2 X 1/4 = (1 X 1) and (2 X 4) = 1 over 8 or 1/8 = 1 divided by 8 = 0.125
.5 X .25 = 0.125
How this helps
Good Luck in your test.

You must be doing something incorrect because no matter how you multiply 1/2 and 1/4, or 0.25 and 0.5, you end up with 1/8 or 0.125 (the equivalent of 1/8). You can do this without a calculator.
Mommy does not have the right process or answer. 2/4 times 1/4 still equals 1/8 NOT 3/4. It is unnecessary to change the 1/2 into 2/4 for this problem.

1/8. When multiplying fractions, you multiply the numerators together (in this case 1*1=1) and the denominators (2*4=8).
The decimal equivalent of 1/8 is 0.125

1/2 times 1/4 equals 1/8
.5 times .25 = .125, which is the same as 1/8
When working with fractions on calculators that don't have dedicated fraction keys, it often helps to put the fractions in parentheses: (1/2)*(1/4)
Your problem might also be with the definition of multiplying matrices, which isn't necessarily what you expect--you don't just multiply the numbers in corresponding locations, but rather take a whole row of the first matrix times the corresponding column of the second, multiply corresponding entries, and add those products.

to educate a fragment right into a decimal you: one million. Divide the denominator into the numerator. 2. you will possibly not constantly have the skill to apply a calculator, so divide 3 in to one million.00. 3. next step is to divide. do not forget to extend your decimal think approximately your answer. 4. while you're asked to alter sixteen over fifty 4 right into a decimal, divide fifty 4 into sixteen.00. 5. constantly upload a decimal and a pair of zeros. you would be able to prefer greater because of the fact it rather is lengthy branch.
