you cant simply that any further,
the denominator is already a function. so you cant go any further with it.

edit: modulo

you cannot simply the 10's when the denominator is in a function. [10+x] counts has ONE number.

10x ( 10 + x)

Firt you want to distribute the 10x inside the parentheses

10(10x) + x(10x)
100x + 10x^2

10x/(10+x) is as simplified as you can get.

However there are alternate ways of rewriting it

Here are a couple:

10x
------- =
10+x

x
------------ =
1 + 0.1*x

1
------------
1/x + 0.1

These may be more useful in your application

You can do this:

(10)x/(10)1+x

This gives you x/1+x since the 10's cancel.

Looks pretty simply to me.

I suppose you can do something about the 10s

x/(1+x/10) but I don't know that I think that it's much simpler.
