I'm in college now and I wanted to know if this grading is for all classes. In all but one course they use this grading scale, but I wanted to know what if this is supposed to be for all colleges? For transferring?

Typically when you transfer only your credits matter, and your grades don't. Many colleges don't even offer the same courses, much less keep track of how their courses compare with those of other colleges.

As far as the grading scales used. Almost all of my classes over the last three years has used a different scale. The professor has to adjust his curve to the students if he does curve, and many of those that don't curve adjust their grading linearly, one way or another.

While many colleges use this scale, there is no standard. Even at the same college, grading scales may vary by course or professor.

A lot of colleges transfer only credit, not actual grades. Those that do transfer grades will take whatever grade appears on your transcript, regardless of the scale that was used.
