Yes yes yes. I would imagine so. You would have to find a way to be noticed though. Then I think you would be good to go from there.

If you played at the Championship or Premeire level then you would have a great chance of making an MLS team. If you played at League Two or One level then you would have somewhat of a chance. If you played nationwide your chances would be a good bit less over here. Oufootball (soccer) is nowhere near the Premeire League level but is is improving every year. Many of our players are now world class and more will become so.

Still, I have to stick with the team I've been following for years in the Premeire League. Go Toffee's (don't laugh).

For those who point out that Americans call football soccer, just remember where the term soccer came from. England.

you will be able to play at the best levels there since they suck at it. It is not a high priority sport though - not high at all - football baseball hockey - basketball are the rule at pro and college level - americans dont like soccer or think much of soccer players or soccer nations - try a european country instead

Depends where you want to play at. Are you talking professional, like MLS, or at a university?

Granted the US is far less enthusiastic compared to the rest of the world, soccer does have its own following and it can get pretty competative if you are aiming high.

Good luck!

yes. knowing UK football and USA football I would say you'd probably be considered one of the best in the world and when i say "the world"...I mean the American world...which is just America.

but really now. I was born in the states and its easy to see that the UK on their worst day could run circles around any American team.

As I understand,If you played soccer in the U.K
Why do you bother to come and play for the U.S teams when the American players are
trying to go and play in Europe ? beside, playing
soccer is not employment ! but a talent that
anyone must have to be able to play for any
team in the world including the U.S.A.
Good luck
