Like "ritual satanic abuse"? Think that's pretty much been blown out of the water as non-credible.
Was just reading _Between Good and Evil: A Master Profiler's Hunt for Society's Most Violent Predators_ by Roger L. Depue....he headed up the FBI Behavioral Science Unit. According to him (p. 230), his colleague Ken Lanning has "never been able to substantiate a single case of a bona fide satanic human sacrifice in the U.S."
