Everyone have respect for what they did...but someone is more lucky to appreciated more than the others. I guess they put efforts too much to get impression from the others. But according to my opinion that is fake.

capitalism is the reason some people live with privilege.... history is the reason lots of people do not. While the Gini coefficient says that income inequity is growing, there are as of today the lowest percentage of people living in poverty than there have ever been. Gothic novels are nice, but the reality is that thru most of history the majority of the population has been very very poor.

Privileged to what degree? Do you mean, Why do some people have more respect than others or more assets than others?
We make our own lives in conjunction with how we see ourselves. I would guess the privileged would be the ones who took the ball and ran with it.
