I'm not sure about extra virgin oil, but extra light olive oil does. Just take 2 tablespoons a day and it will clear your skin up-if that's what you mean by lightening it.
It's kind of gross going down, though. I put it in with a small glass of water, so it doesn't make me gag.

I wouldnt recommend lightening your skin, but if you're hell-bent on it then buy skin lightening creams. These can usually be found in the ethnic beauty section of most drug stores.
Putting olive oil on your skin will only cause blemishes; what you heard is complete rubbish.

Seems like a bad idea to put grease on your skin, even olive oil. You'd have to wash well afterward or it could clog the pores, and I doubt it does anything in the first place.

Hi,
I use it on my skin and hair and have yet to see any lightening of my skin. I have been using it for quite some time and it is a great moisturizer. Now cocoa butter is known to lighten skin, but I have yet to try it on myself.

i mix olive oil and castor oil on my face and it is clear and makes it glow. oil disolves oil. its proven.
