Cords are a staple for men (or women) wardrobe's in fall/winter. So, they're always "in style", as long as they're either in chocolate brown or camel colors and in classic cuts.
I'd compare them with the pinstripe pattern for example, in the sense that they're not necessarily a "trend", more of a classic in fashion.

Yes, just make sure that the cut is NOT tapered or boot cut and that the width of the stripes is wide--if they're too close together they will look velvet-esque (never a good look for a guy) Also, I'd stay away from bright colors and stick to khaki or black.

There are definitly in style in preppy places like parts of CT, and more...it depends where you live.

Not anymore but I think if you wear it with the right things then they may look good. But i dont see them in any catalogs any more but I hink you can wear what ever is right for you.

I think they always look nice, especially this time of year. Stick with browns, tans, neutral colors that go with everything. But it's really your preference that matters.
