thats a great question, more of a personal oppinnion. I would say I would prefer to be an unhappy millionare. Learn what is making me unhappy, and eventually become a tremendously happy milionaire

Naturally ... money does not, as many seem to think, naturally equal happiness. Why do people pursue money? To find happiness. Much better to be happy and poor than miserable and rich. Money cannot solve all your problems, and believe it or not, it does not bring happiness. Happiness is more about how you react to your circumstances than how rich you are.
