After having 2 children, nursing them, getting her body back into pre-pregnancy shape, my wife has gone from a B cup to an A cup. She is very self concious and wants implants.

It's not a priority to me, I think she is a knock out. I've always been a leg and bum man too. I love her and if it makes her happy so be it.

I need suggestions/advice on the following:
She is 5'5'' a size 4

Cup size she should go to (currently down to an A)?
How much recovery time should she expect to need? (we have 2 in diapers still)
How long after surgery should I expect to be hands off?
Is submuscular the best way to go?
Silicone is out of the question!
What else should she consider in the decision process?

Good for your wife for getting back into shape!

I have breast implants, and I started with a couple of message boards and talked to 100s of women who already had them. Try a message board. BUT! Have your wife go there. They don't take kind to men, sorry!

I would say the first thing is to find a GREAT doctor. Then, she will go in for a consult where she will try on special bras and they will put in essentially water balloons. It's the size of the balloons that she likes that will determine what size she ends up being.

Seeing how she is petite, I would say getting her to a small C would be great!

And silicone is still not approved in the U.S. For studies only. Mine are saline.

You can play with them as soon as she is comfortable.

I would say that yes, submuscular is the way to go.

Seeing how she is done nursing kids, she could go with any incision spot. I went through the navel believe it or not!

Oh, you called it bum - are you in the U.K.? Regardless, she can get saline if that's what she wants.

If she had pretty boobs now, she will have bigger pretty boobs later.

Okay. My wife is the almost parallel with yours. 5'4" size 3. She was a B, then a C with breast feeding, then an A.

We went 350 cc smooth round saline (overfilled 300 cc implant), under the muscle, incision under the crease. Make sure that she takes an antibiotic for 10 days to virtually eliminate capsular constricture risk (Massage to prevent is bs, they will get softer with time). This is the only way to go in my opinion after a lot of research.

She is now a c cup. If you do anything, go bigger rather than smaller, all women regret not going bigger. She should probably go 350 -400 cc.

It will be 2 week that she feels that she was hit by a truck - very limited and bed ridden. You will need to get help with the kids if you work. Use scar therapy on incisions after about 3 -4 weeks everyday.

Hands off for 3 months at least. She is little and they will put something huge in there. It will take time to adjust.

Have fun, I do.

ask your doctor if a lift would give them a bigger look. sometimes our breast fall into our armpitts and they look smaller than they are. as with any surgery there will be risks. After breast surgery, some implant patients experience loss of sensation in the nipple and breast area as well as: Asymmetry Breast pain Breast tissue atrophy Calcification/calcium deposits Capsular contracture Chest wall deformity Delayed wound healing Inflammation/irritation Malposition/displacement Necrosis Nipple/breast changes Palpability/visibility Ptosis Redness/bruising Rupture/deflation Scarring Seroma Unsatisfactory style/size Wrinkling/rippling This doesnt always happen talk to a good doctor not a sales person (as you'll find most of them are) make sure you are willing to deal with the possable side effects and look up breast implant pics on google. It will show you the good and bad of impants.

Breast Implants surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
