Why would you want to?

Anyone notice that some darker skinned people want to lighten, and fairer skinned people spend fortunes in tanning salons?

Skin is skin. It's not who you are. Just look after it so you can keep it healthy your whole life. Beauty radiates from the inside.

It depends on what you are trying to do. Are you trying to bleach your entire face or body?... or... Are you trying to bleach dark scars, marks, etc.?

A dermatologist can perscribe a high concentrated hydroquinone up to 4 or 5%, but you can purchase it over the counter in 1 to 3% concentrations. Hydroquinone works by blocking an enzyme that is responsible for the production of the pigment melanin. By blocking the formation of melanin, the dark area will lighten. However, it takes some time... up to 6 months to gain effect depending on the percentage. Also, prolonged use can be damaging and is not recommended by me or anyone. Consult a dermatologist before using it.

4% Hydroquinone Products:

* Alustra™
* Claripel™
* Epiquin Micro
* Eldoquin Forte™
* Eldopaque Forte™
* Glyquin XM™
* Glyquin®
* Lustra®
* Lustra-AF™
* Solaquin Forte®
* Tri-Luma®

Glycolic acid is a good way to help lighten the skin, but again, you must use caution as it can burn the skin if not applied properly.
Many people go to reputable dermatologists for treaments. It is one of the quickest ways to see a dramatic lightening of dark marks and spots.

Lemon is a natural skin lightnener, but it takes a long time for changes in skin tone to become apparent.

All of these treatments can cause redness, irritation and possible burning of the skin.

Chlorine bleach is a dangerous home remedy for the treatment hyperpigmentation and should never be used on the skin for any reason.

I use a combination of retin a, steric acid, lemon juice, and kinerase lotion for hyperpigmentation.

I am not certain if there is a quick fix out there for scars and hyperpigmentation. However, if you are trying to lighten your entire body, I would advise against it. It just isn't natural and to me it sounds like those who do may be dealing with very troubling issues within themselves.

I wish you luck and take great care in the use of what ever products you choose.

any skin bleach or lightning cream will do....just be careful that stuff is dangerous. More than likely your skin will not get lightened evenly. It will just make you look worse
