How? It was created by the Big Bang (or simply known in physics as 2 branes slapping together, causing the big bang). This is also known as the Kaluza-Klein Theory and a similar theory is M Theory (aka Strings). Branes exist outside our Universe (in the Multiverse) and when they come together matter is formed where-ever they touched.

Why was the Universe created? Because without it, it would be VERY boring indeed.

The "how" is pretty much a fact of physics - via the Big Bang. The "why" may or may not exist, tho I believe the former. My best guess at this time is that this is the Creator's method of reproduction, of some sort. I believe the "why" exists due to the fact that the Big Bang was the one true and only act of creation known to have occurred in this universe; and to me, creation implies a creator. Just my opinion tho.

I don't know why and
I don't know how.

Furthermore, physics has little to say about the matter. Physics cannot explain why there is something rather than nothing.

The Big Bang theory is not a theory about how the Universe came to be, it is a theory about how it evolved from a time that is (perhaps) a femptosecond after it came to be. It is possible that something existed before the Big Bang, perhaps for an infinite time before.

LOL, that's a broad question.

I agree with current scientific theories, the big bang probably occured about 14 billion years ago. Physics helps explain how the matter and energy were divided, expanded, combined, etc...

As for why, there is no why. That's like asking how did 9 planets form... and why. There's no intelligence behind it, hence no "why"

In my opinion there is no satisfactory answer about WHY and HOW the Universe originated (I say it rather than "created" because it pushes the answer to a creationist aim).

Personally, I think it always existed, just not always in the same form. I think the big bang was one of many possible transitions, they energy of the universe was always there.

I don't believe there was a creation. The universe simply was, is, and always will continue to be.

God created the universe.
Why? because creation is the natural consequence of the attribute of creator (God)

are you sure you want the facts? or my opinion? or just want me to hear what you believe, regardless of the facts?
