I have met a super hot guy that is gay. We became friends fast and eventually he told me he was gay and I helped him face his mom and dad when he came out of the closet. Ever sense I met him in junior high we have been best friends, and I love him like he was my brother. If I met a guy I wanted to date that was gay, I wouldn't do anything. What could I do? Sense my best friend is gay I'm around cute gay guys all the time, but I'm used to it.

Oh, but wait. I could turn this around. What would I do if I met a really handsome heterosexual man? Absolutely nothing. It happens all the time. Personally, I would not be interested in someone who had zero interest in me. It's got to be mutual.

Be a friend to him. It does happen all the time, I meet girls all the time and they seem to flirt and I have to tell them that I am gay and we become really close friends.
You could always just send them my way.
No really though... remember that it is NOT you and it is not their fault. Just... happens.
