My period was due on Nov. 25th and it is two days late and I have not gotten it yet. I'm not sure if it's late cause my wedding in coming up at the end of this week or if I am pregnant. My breast have been sore for anywhere between 2 - 3 weeks now and have very minimal cramping. My lower back has been bothering more frequently lately too. It is rare that I feel sick, but every now and then I do in the moringings or late afternoons if I don't eat anything for lunch. I have one daughter and she will be 3 years old Dec. 17th, but I didn't know I was pregnant with her until I was like 2 1/2 months along. I have been wondering this time for at least two weeks now. Please give me some opinions on what you think I should do, take the test or wait until after the wedding. (Serious answers only!)

Take a test with morning urine, if its positive go to MD for blood test to confirm. If negative retest in 3 days, if still neg try one more retest in another 3 days, if neg and no period, then go to MD to check you. (It is probably the stress of the wedding, but if not, go to the MD soon so you can get prenatal care

If you are never late and have regular cycles I would say that you should take a test to find out, but be sure that it is one of the ones that says that you can test 5 days before your expected period that way it will be sensitive enough to detect the HGC levels. You should take it in the morning because that is when your levels are the highest. It would be best to know if you are before the wedding so that if you are you don't drink too much. These symptoms could also be stress from the upcoming wedding and they are your bodies reaction to the stress. Why wait until after the wedding? You are just stressing yourself out. You don't have to tell anyone the results if you don't want them to know you are pregnant when you get married, but if you already have a 3 year old daughter I can't see how that would matter. Just take the test now. You'll feel better knowing one way or the other. IMO it sounds like you may be.

I think you should take the test as soon as possible (with first thing in the morning urine like mentioned earlier). If you are pregnant, pre-natal care early is very important. And if you aren't then you can stop worrying and enjoy the final preparations for your upcoming wedding.

I would defintely take the test if I was you and if it comes up negative and you still think you are wait about 2 weeks and take it again.
