If you live in California, esp. near San Jose or Orange Country, you are in luck! There are many local businesses there offering services to send gifts to relatives in Vietnam. I'd recommend those first.

If you have problem reaching these local businesses, sending gifts to Vietnam over the web might be a tricky business. Though the postal/delivery service has improved over time, there is not a guaranteed service for delivery, especially to smaller cities or rural areas.

For delivery of flowers and canned gifts to relatives in Saigon though, you can look for such sites as http://www.tosaigonwithlove.com/. I don't think there is one yet doing the same thing from US to VN using the web, or at least there is not one that I would trust yet at this time.

Like Novice said, http://tosaigonwithlove.com/ is a very good way to go. They even take pictures of them with the gifts and email it to you. I too have a "close friend" in VN, so I know how it is. If shipping, I would use the http://www.usps.com/, it's cheaper, and they have a list on their site to tell you what you can an can't send there. Good luck.

Sometimes people make decisions that have little or nothing to do with US. They make them because they believe this is the right thing for them to do. We are left to pick up the pieces of our own lives and move on. There is no time schedule..grieve at your own pace...and know that there is life after a break up and that it will be better. I would suggest you avoid getting into another relationship very soon . Give yourself time to work out whatever issues you two dealt with and "clean up your side of the street". Look at your part and see where you may have needed more information about being in this relationship. Take that learning and apply it to the next relationship you have, and the next one and the next one. You are not a bad person because she ended this relationship. She simply is on her own path in life and learned what she needed from you. As for the gifts, give them to charity or keep them, you choose. Just for today, go out and do something YOU enjoy...ride a bike, take a walk, go to the movie, call a friend, read a book...whatever makes you feel good. You deserve it. Be kind to yourself. HUGS

We usually send money via vina fax or another wire service. That way your GF can buy what she wants over there. Easier and the safest way to send a gift. We have done it this way for the last 10 years. good luck, cheers.
