Here's a gift he'll remember that you don't need money for http://www.giftweblog.com/2006/10/17/sexy-gift-for-your-husband-or-boyfriend/

You must have at least some money, surely. It doesn't have to be a lot. A little money would buy him a book, if he likes to read, or a music CD. We aren't talking about huge spending here! Whatever he is into, get him something relatively cheap based on that interest. If he really has left you without a single penny to spend on anything, clearly this arrangement isn't working too well! He can't expect you to run a house on no money. And I don't think sex should be considered a gift, as this is something which should be there all year round! Unless you are creative, making something might be tough. If all else fails, promise him you will do better next year and actually save up for a present, or better still, get a job if things are that hard.

Well, his money is now your money. He knows your financial situation, since it is his as well. Tell him you want to get him a special gift, and ask for money for it. I know it sounds silly, but I've been married for 19 years, and my husband has paid for most of his gifts, since I quit working when our oldest child was born (who is now 16).

You guys should have a set amount of $$ each can spend w/o having to account to the other about it. That's what my hubby and I do, and how I handle buying his presents. Seriously though, he doesn't care that eventually "he's" paying for whatever, it's seriously the thought that counts.

If you really have a hangup about this though, you might consider making him something, or do a coupon book of services you can offer him (make it as racy or not as you'd like...LOL)

p.s. DO NOT borrow money from another source to get him a gift...this will probably make him angry--because he'll have to repay it. You guys are a couple now, and you should share finances. If you borrow money from your parents or another source, how will you pay it back? You won't until you're out of school with a job.

talk to him about the money situation and ask him if he could have anything from you that does not have a monitary value what would he want. If you just got married he will understand the shortage on money. Maybe a day planned out for him including all of these ideas would be a x-mas he would remember more than a simple gift. Remember he married you for a reason so you can't be too wrong on picking out a x-mas present.

Hi, 'I can't buy him a gift without using his money'. You are no long single but married. Which means, our money and not his money. According to marital (marriage) mathematics, two plus two is one, only in marriage. Two of you are 'better halfs' and compliments each other. Do not feel bad to use the money becuase it belongs to both of you.

A rose may not cost much to get for him. Above all, it is important that you have a quality time with him. Give him the gift of your time for everything we give to each other are being given in time and out of time and that makes 'your time' one of the greatest gift that you can give to each other.

Why not make a collage using pictures of the two of you and words cut from magazines? If you choose words that describe him, your relationship, and the things you love about him, it'll be special without being spendy. You can use paperboard from a cereal box as the base, and most dollar stores sell picture frames that you could put the finished project in.

Every guy likes to be reminded of how great his girl thinks he is, and a framed collage can serve as a lasting reminder of just how you feel.

cook him a great meal. run him some bath water, either with bubbles or some sort of bath oil or bead. do that by candle light. if he drinks, have him his favorite drink by bathside, if he does not drink, maybe some sparkling cider. as he's soaking, talk about his day. no complaning about you because it is all about him right now. get some face cream or scrub, clean his face. wash his body with some very good body wash(olay ribbons is the bomb) along with a sponge, not towel. wash him nice and slow. well that's enough, you get the picture. now it's time to use your own imagination after that!!!!! oh yea, a strip tease won't hurt.(smile)

A cologne gift set, or an electric razor/shaver. Buy him a nice sweater, hat & glove set, wallet, pajamas, slippers, or robe, or an engraved money clip. Those aren't that expensive.

Well, any electronics is always good. But the best thing to do since you have no money is do something romantic at home i.e a candlelit dinner, followed by a massage, followed by whatever else you do. That is what I will want. GOD BLESS
