Why doesnt Launchcast on YIM have a genre for Las Vegas style music? For example, Tom Jones, Barry Manilow,?

I don't know. Why don't you post your question to the Yahoo Group for Lauchcast at http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/launchcast/

The product manager for Launchcast reads the Group messages. Maybe you can convince them to add such a station. It sounds like a good idea to me, but they might not have anyone knowledgeable enough in this genre to properly program such a station.

You probably already know this, but they do have stations for Modern Broadway, Classic Broadway, Classic Vocal Standards, Greatest Pop Ballands, Martini Lounge and Show Tunes. Plus, you can listen to, say, the Tom Jones fan station (from the Tom Jones artist page) which might play some of this style of music.
