To be emancipated you must be able to show the legal court that you are fully selfsustaining. This means you have a job, your still in school or pursueing a GED, you have a place to live that YOU are paying for, your paying your own bills and your buying your own groceries.
So many kids get this 'emancipation' idea when they don't realize just exactly what it takes. I suggest you sit down with your mom and tell her how you are feeling. Do not threaten that you will leave and 'get emancipated' or you'll find she will call your bluff and then you'll really be screwed. I'm willing to bet you don't make enough money (if you even have a job) to sustain yourself much less pay for the other items in life like car insurance, health insurance, medicine, etc.
When you talk with your mom, set down at the table and agree on some ground rules for the discussion. Things like:
1) Each person must be allowed to speak their full thought.
2) Each person must allow the other their turn to speak.
3) Each person has the ability to call for a 10 minute break at any time. (to calm down, for the other to calm down, for time to think, etc.)
4) Agree that feelings are never wrong, they are what they are and that it's the situation and attitudes that create the 'bad feelings' that need to be addressed.
5) Agree that your Mom is the parent and she has the final word. This could be a bit harder to accept but that is the reality and if you admit this to your Mom it will go a long way to show her that you understand your place and are only trying to resolve the emotional crisis you are in.
Good luck and I hope this helps!

Sit down and talk to her. Maybe she is under some stress you do not know about. If not, talk to a school counsellor and tell her what is going on. You can always just ignore her and be confident in yourself. Not everyone gets the best parents and we learn to deal until we are old enough to move out.

You should talk to her. Maybe there is a reason she is doing this. Maybe you are not innocent in the whole thing
