my dad makes silver statues and he would like to setup a website were one can purchase them. There are only 5 types of statues made to order. Does anyone know were i could setup a website for this type of very small business. He would like for it to have a credit card payment option.

If you don't want to operate through ebay, I would suggest something like www.agora.com who have online shopping sites available for you. They are fairly easy to manage (they have premade formats for you to just implement) and they are decent to look at (easy to figure out how to buy from). They also allow you to make your own templates if you are experienced in doing so.

It is very easy. Try with a standard web siteproviders. Microsoft (free domain and hosting for life) , Google (Googlepages, Blogger) , Yahoo (Geocities), Freewebs are some of the companies offering free websites with design tools . First of all you registered the domain.Create a pin words.Go to http://www.yahoo.com/smallbusiness registered with them they will provide you free of cost all the web tools you need.And host with them for a nominal year base fees.Whatever items you like to sale;first take the picture of item and a brief description.Say create a pamphlet for each item,and than transfer to your website.
