Emerson College in Boston, Syracuse University, American University (DC), University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, University of Florida have great communication departments.

Look into American University in Washington, DC. They have one of the best programs around and they have an amazing advantage of being in Washington....SO MANY internships are available in the city. This school will get you set up with a great job.

Quinnipiac University (where I go!), Syracuse University, and Ithaca College - those are the best in the Northeast as far as I know
