I think intellectually the $1000 dollar question was posed so that one would have to THINK. A lot of money would be easy - but a $1000 could do it too - if one was creative (which you don't have to be with lots of money)...and more people could come up with $1000 - so that is why it's that amount...and yes, one could change anothers life without any dollar amount.
Oprah I think is not a hypocrite...I don't always agree with her, and sometimes I do - but I think she believes what she says and she says what she believes. There is honesty in that.

Hypocrit, self effacing, egotistical, bitchy, can't do a darn thing for herself, uses people like others use napkins and doesn't know the meaning of "quiet selflessness".
Oh she's legit....She gives her money away, but can you imagine how many shows she's going to get out of it? She has her little gift cards that she gave away to people - but do you think that the actual recipient of those cards don't know where it actaully came from? God I cannot tolerate this woman any longer. To me, she another Omerosa - A woman who uses her color and position (and in Oprah's case her money) as an execuse to be rude to those of us who are not in her league.
