can the xbox 360 record live tv?

the 360 manual says it can pause and record live tv like a TiVo or direct tv. Has any one done this? Does any one know how to do this?

i'll go dig through my paperwork cabinet.
i got a 360 w/ hdd and i don't rememberit saying that.
i'm gonna look into that
