This is what my teacher wants us to answer can somebody help me out with this?

No. At 18, most young people are mature and ready through their education to make intelligent decisions. Most will be seniors in high school or graduated. I do not think those who are under 18 have the education, life experience, or knowledge to make such important decisions.

No, I do not see why it should be lowered. Most people between ages 18 and 30 do not vote as it is. I personally started voting at age 18 and never skipped a year since, but I know I am in the minority. Plus, I don't think a 15-year-old would really have a good enough grip on the political system and worldly issues yet to make an informed decision on a candidate. This is just my opinion.

Voting age should remain at 18.

-out of highschool
-more mature
-begining to live on own

18 is viewed as being "adult", and being an adult just has more responsibilities. Voting and being able to serve in the military is one of them.

If you are old enough to pay taxes then you get to vote.
