No its not right. 'Till deatth us do part'. Remember that bit? It would be completely heartless and damn well indecent of you to leave your poor wife at her hour of need. It would not even enter my thoughts. As to the affair? Maybe your wife would be better off without you. How can you care for her and have an affair at the same time? If someone feels that way about his "cancer stricken wife" and is having an affair- He SHOULD do her a favor and leave her. I am sure she knows all about it anyway, wives usually do.
