I have been to NI a couple of times and I aware that the Unionists are unhappy with things at the moment - why is this?

All small regions fear absorption by their larger neighbours. Add to this the long felt distrust between Catholics and Protestants, and you have problems.

Because they want everything for themselves.
They don't want to have to share, and they don't want to lose their grip on things.
In short, they want to remain in the dark ages.
