Love it! Lydia is one of my top 10 girl's names and Austin is up there, I'm glad you resisted the urge to be cutsy (ie Megan and Marco or Sandra and Samuel) and I also love that you're honoring the family with the middle name, my brother is Dalton after his Great grandfather and he's always felt a lot of pride bearing that name

I love Austin, my husband hates it or our son would have possibly been named Austin. Austin John is cute I like it when the names go together but don't rhymm. Lydia.. not a big fan of myself, trying to be honest. It's not the worst name by far but it's not what I would have chosen. But it does go well with Marie. Honey this is your decision. We are pregnant right now and going to name our baby Charlie... boy or girl. We have told people the name without telling them that is what we have decided on and some love it and some make fun of it, some hate it and think it is cruel for a girl.... Go with your heart. Go with what feels right. If you like it, then go with it, it will grow on everyone else. my sister named her baby Emily... I didn't think it was the best name when she was born, it was right there with Lydia I would say.. and now. I love it, it's grown on me and I couldn't imagine her being named anything else. I love it.

I don't like the way Austin John sounds. There's something not right about it. On the otherhand, Lydia Marie is very nice!

I like them. I have two nephews that are twins and their mom named them Jeremy and Leremy, which kind of confuse people. I have heard the boys both called by the same name, I think even though they are twins they still have their own personality and should have their own name. If they sound too much alike are they are spelled too close alike it can be confusing. I think people can tell twins when they look at them and don't need their name to be so close to being the same. I think the names you picked sound like names a movie star may have, who knows maybe they will be the next big actors. :)

I like them, they're really cute!
The only thing is that my middle name is Marie and I hate it because it seems like everyone either has Marie, Ann, or Elizabeth for a middle name. Mine's a family thing too, but I always wished I had a unique middle name.

Austin John doesn't do it for me. Sorry. The name doesn't flow like John Austin or Robert John.

We have a boy and girl twin, and when choosing their names we wanted to have symmetry between their names, reflecting a certain sort of connection. But not being as corny as calling them Janet and John.

We chose Benjamin and Jessica. Both names have 3 syllablles and contain the letter J.

They can both be shortened, and still sound nice, and they go well with our surname.

I love the 1st...I think Austin sounds too similiar to John, though. Maybe you could use something similiar, like Justin. Or Jason.
