My coworker told that he urinates in the company coffee everyday. He says that he likes to do that because their are many people on our job that he cannot stand. He says that he likes to see the look on their faces after he adds his "own personal blend of herbs and spices" (urine) to the coffee. I really don't like the flavor of urine in my coffee and I am wondering if I should tell my boss about what has been going on.
I am a little nervous about saying anything because this guy is very disrespectful and has a bit of tough reputation. It is said that he carries his own personal collection of whips and chains in the trunk of his car and will use them on anyone that crosses his path.
Should I tell my boss that my coworker has been urinating in the coffee or should I just find something else to drink?? Help please

This is one of the nastiest things I have ever heard of. You need to let someone know secretly if you are too afraid of retaliation. Do it for everyone's safety. This person is sick and needs to be dealt with.

Wait till someone else gets hired. Repeat with someone ELSE you don't like. edit: think about it- with you constantly picking up the slack for the new workers, your manager will think of you as "loyal" and a "hard worker". He may even give you a small raise and a "managerial position". In other words, keep up the good work- you've just found an elevator next to the loooooong ladder to middle management.

Well.... no one deserves pee in their coffee, and if that is happeneing these people should know about it. But if you think that your life is in danger because of the result of you sayingsomething... maybe you should leave an anonymous letter on your bosses desk.... or you could just inform the police

If it bothers you this much... sure tell your boss.

Otherwise ignore your co-worker. Most guys that do this are starved for attention. Any reaction he gets from you about this fuels him on. If you go to your boss... that will likely fuel his anger and paint you out as a nice target. If you ignore him completely, he'll eventually go away. To be safe, I'd wash your cups... and drink a different beverage.

you dont have to be afraid of this guy, he is doing something terrible. what if you were drinking the coffee and did not know?
Tell your boss immeadiatley he is putting peoples life at risk. People should always weigh the consequences of their actions so he cant expect to be doing this to other people and go scot free.

oh my god! That is so horrible, I understand your dilemma though. Why don't you tell your boss what's happened and explain that you don't want the guy to know it was you. Maybe your boss could watch out for him and try and walk in on him doing it? That way, he gets caught and no-one knows it was you that told
