first convert 24 inches to feet
12 inches = 1foot
(24 in)(1 ft/12 in) = 24/12 = 2 feet

divide 20 cubic feet by 2 feet
the answer is 10 square feet

thus the product of the length and the depth must equal 10 square feet
different combinations are:
1 ft by 10 ft
2 ft by 5 ft

Vol = HxLxD

You've given the H as 24 inches = 2 ft

Vol = 20 ft^3 = HxLx2
10 ft^2 = HxL

So, you can make it any H and L you want just so the product is 10 ft^2.

Notice that you can't have a cube because 2^3 = 8 not 20.

You could make H=L= sqrt(10) if you want.

They could be anything, as long as the product of the two sides is 10 sq. feet. The box could be 10 ft x 1 ft x 2 ft (24 inches). Or it could be 5 ft x 2 ft x 2 fx. There are an infinite number of answers.

If you want the base to be square, then the two sides need to be √10, or approximately 3.1622776601683793319988935444327 feet long.

make a field it truly is a million foot on both aspect and .7 ft deep. yet when all 3 aspects should be a similar length: make the field 10.sixty 5 inches on all 3 aspects and also you've were given a dice field that has an inner length of .7 cubic ft.

The box is 2 feet high. The base needs to be 10 square feet.

It could be 2' by 5',
3' by 3' 4"
4' by 2' 6"

any combination of lenght and width that when multiplied give 10 square feet.

l*w*h=20 (cubic feet)
h=2 feet
l*w*2=20
l*w=10
so, anything that multiplies out to 10 could be your answer, either
1x10x2 or 2x5x2
