I just picked up a new Acer AL2216W (http://global.acer.com/products/monitor/1_series.htm) and have set it up to play World of Warcraft at 1680x1050.

Setup was effortless and it displays just fine on the screen. The only issue I have is when I walk sideways in the game. It blurs considerably when I do this. Strafing a mob, running at an angle to avoid being dazed... all cause very noticeable blurring. It does this at 1440x900 as well.

Refresh rate is set to 60Hz on the monitor, in the game and in Windows.

Any ideas on how to fix this and/or what may be causing it?

You might want to try playing with the actual settings in WoW for the video setup - the stuff on the lower section. Fiddling with them might have an effect.

Either that, or try peanut M&Ms. ;)

No, real life is a good place to meet guys. Do you really want to get into the drama of "internet dating"? Anyway, there's no point in playing World of Warcraft if you're just using it to meet people. It's an RPG, not a social networking site.

I think that if you were to remove the plain M&Ms from your system, you may some difference. I know it melts in your mouth, not in your hands, but in a PC, they can have disastrous effects.
