I think wood is stronger ....I think of the mighty oak tree...the redwood forest ....these trees have been grounded and rootes deep into the earth... I like wood more because I'm a nature lover...who loves hikes that go deep into the woods. 18/40-23
Diamonds though they are glass they represent in our worldy culture ... a promise to which few men can keep. for this reason and others I think glass is more fragile than wood. 18/40-23

It depends on what you are going to use them for. Some glass in now fortified to withstand 150 mph winds, while some wood will 'bow' when something heavy is placed in it.
But..as for my prefernce of the two...I would say wood. I like the way it looks, smells and feels. It is closer to nature.

It depends on the piece .......glass has incredible strength , as does wood ......I mean an a piece of window payne glass isnt as strong as a piece of one inch thick oak ......a piece of glass one inch thick would be much stronger than a piece of balsa wood that was one inch thick , it is all realitive to size and shape ,

wood is stronger but glass is used in very pretty art with the added colors and you can blow glass into all sorts of shapes. wood is great too, wooden sculptures are awesome.
