Of course, we wouldn't play the silly, girly "make a bridal dress out of toilet paper" kind. But maybe Gift Bingo or something else young and fun? Any ideas?

Go for it, just take into consideration the age of the participants. Older guys are not going to want to play games, they are just getting used to going to showers, so incorporated things that might involve things like sports and tool trivia or card games. Men are competitive, so finding something that pits the guys against the women is good too.

i think its a great way to fill the time, you could play quiz games like get couples to try to answer questions about the bride and groom, picture and age match-up game is a good one too. You could even have like a casino style theme that might appeal to both geners it falls on the jack and jill side but is still fun. Set up a poker table, roulette wheel (these can be rented) Have draws for door prizes, etc. have fun!

Instead of a game, maybe have a wine/beer taste testing. I just attended a wine test tasting bridal shower at Vinters Winery, you could find a place near you to do it at or purchase different wine or beers and do your own taste testing. (At the tasting we had maybe a total of 1 1/2 glasses of wine, but watch for the people that shouldn't drive!)
