First thing,It's not only black people who dress like this. yes, the majority of people who dress like this are black, but I've seen all races do it. For example, some white boys who skateboard dress like this. Next time you have a question like this, you should say, why do "SOME" black people do this,or why do some black people do that.Don't just narrow it down to black people in general because not all black people do the same things. My boyfriend would Never wear his pants so you could see his underwear. He wears them at his waist, with a belt. So please don't judge everyone the same way.

It's not just black people who do it, Young people of all racial backgrounds do it nowadays. I felt sorry for the guy who kept having to pull his jeans up while shopping in Tesco. It was just so embarrassing for him! As for ladies, this is the worst look in the last 100 years. Avoid it if you can!

I see the same thing, but not only on blacks. I've seen it with most races. You may notice that it is done by the younger crowd. I suppose it is done because they're trying to look 'cool'!!!
In my young and foolish days, I did likewise with fashion. When I became older and wiser I threw away childish things (as the good book tells us) :-).

I know plenty of teenagers that have this style of baggy jeans going on. Its not a colour of the skin thing, its a fashion trend, that teenagers want to look good and cool in.

Well, there are jeans called low riders that females where that are geared toward the inticement of men. Also, it is just a fashion statement for guys. They think it is sexy. However, blacks are not the only ones who do it.

It's not just black people... there was this [white] guy on the bus with his trousers below his bum... then they fell down. Couldn't help laughing! He thought he looked soooo cool.

this is not in simple terms black people. I see various of youthful adult men of all races wandering round with denims that appear like they are about to provide way. they seem to get gradually decrease to boot - it became rather of calvin klein waistband that you confirmed, now this is complete pants, with the belt protecting the denims up around the better leg in preference to being everywhere close to the waist. psychological. And draughty, i assume.

this is a fashion statement that everyone doesn't have to dress like everyone some males feel as if having their jeans or shorts up so high is just not them and to have them to their knees make them feel more comfortable they don't have to be like the white folks
