I've always wanted to go to my dream art school to major in animation and gaming. Unfortuanately my parents couldn't help me with school so I ended up going to community college instead. I was pretty devastated but got my associates in arts at the community college. Now I'm 21 and I can actually afford going to the art school that I'v always wanted to go to. The only problem is that since it's a private art school; none of the classes that I took at the community college transferred. I would have to start all over and prob not get my degree until I'm 26. Is it worth me starting over or is 26 too old to barely be finishing college?

You're never to old to start or finish your education. Learning keeps the mind sharp! My father is 55, now in his 2nd year of law school - and already holds 2 masters and a couple of bachelors degrees. If you want the education, go for it!!!

seriously dude you are never to old. I am thinking about going back and getting another degree as well but I am 23 and married. You are still young and especially if you don't have anything tying you down should most definitly go for it. You will regret it if you don't. Trust me I have a bachelors in Biology even though I realised my junior year I wanted it in something else, but because I didn't want to go an extra two years I finished out with my BS in Bio. Big mistake! do what you love and love what you do.

NEVER!!! You are never to old to go to school. I know many people who are older than that and starting or going back to school. 26 is still young, and i would say that if it is something that you really want and it has been your dream then you should do it. You don't want to have any regrets and i think that you would regret not going to art school.

I finished my Bachelor's degree at 25 and altough I felt old at times compared to my classmates, I am really happy I finished it. I am doing my Maters right now at age 26 and I am among the youngest in my program.....It`s all relative. Go for it and good luck!!!!!!!!

You can be 30 years old with a degree... or 30 years old without a degree. Which one sounds better?

It's never too late and you're never too old to continue your education and do whatever it is that drives you. Why on earth should anyone let age get in his/her way?
