Is Trevor Phillips sucking up to Bliar for a safe parliamentary seat?

I've heard from sources that he will become a minister if labour wins the next election. That is why he is a very staunch Bliarite. Bliar says to Phillips "jump" and Phillips replies "how far master"
He always wanted to be an MP.

Who isn't? I would guess that anyone in politics is wanting to go as far as they can.

I have always respected Trevor Phillips and believe he would make a good MP.
Certainly as good as the rest of them.
