You know, when you say you want to do something, and they are all "me too!" Or when you are feeling something, or did something. Most of the time, I don't feel they are being honest, and are just brown-nosing. Are they just trying to be liked, or want to feel like they can associate with you somehows?

Some people are really being honest and then some are just looking for an identity and trying to find it through you.
Lost people need direction and don't know how to get it unless they are using someone else.
If it really bothers you , simply ask them, "are you sure this is what you want or are you just doing it because I am?", they usually get the hint after a while.

Depends, sometimes people are shy and don't want to express how they really feel until someone else expresses it. Or you could just be the type of person who is really open and honest with yourself and expresses opinions that people don't normally talk about.
