New England and New York have got most of the ivies and as
Harvard University and Yale University they are the best in that area , no other names strike me.

They are top in Business management , medical (Harvard) , Law(yale) , MIT is top in engineering , educatinal sciences(columbia) they have most of it covered. Then other ivies like brown and dartmouth are also pretty good.

Check out the following link also if you want to , it may help : http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/grad/rankings/rankindex_brief.php

Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell, Amherst College... the northeast has all the best universities :) (Guess where I'm from haha-not that I go to any of those...)

There's tons that aren't Ivy League too... Syracuse, Quinnipiac, Boston University, Boston College, Providence College

Williams, Dartmouth, Bowdoin, Colby, as well. Check out www.collegeboard.com, Fiske Guide to Colleges (latest edition available) and the US News and World Report college rankings (can pay for full access, $16 per year.)

-There's a website I used my senior year of High School during the big college search. Not only did it help me search through specific school information (such as the best school for specific degrees, costs, locations, etc...), helping me find which one was right for me, but in the meantime it lets you apply for numerous student loans, scholarships, and aid funds. I highly recomment it to anyone in the college decision process.
