I've had my tubes tied, but I got it done at the same time I had my c-section (well, immediately following, I guess), so it would be hard for me to tell what pains came from where...

never had any complications.

good for you, nursing for so long!
I nursed my first baby for 10 months and my second for 13 months.

I was in and out the same day..very little pain, did have trouble with going down the stairs. I had it done on a Friday and was back to work Monday with limited duites..(whatever I could handle). Since the procedure I almost never have cramps but I do get back pain when I have my period. No complaints...beats taking the pill.

The pain is very little and the restrictions are not to lift anything heavy for 3 days and not to have intercourse. But you really have to make sure this is what you want.I had mine done when my ex husband was abusive to me and I had planed to leave him , I was 100% sure that's what I wanted.
I re-married 2 years ago and now I regret this with all my hearth I have two children but I really would like to have my tubal reversal but I can't afford it .

I HAD MINE DONE WHEN MY YOUNGEST WAS ABOUT 3 MONTHS OLD. I WAS NURSING AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PROCEDURE WOULDN'T HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THIS...I WOULD JUST NEED TO THROW OUT THE "DAY OF SURGERY" MILK SUPPLY BECAUSE OF THE ANESTHESIA. BUT THAT WAS NOT TRUE. IT DRIED MY MILK UP WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. VERY DISTURBING BECAUSE I ENJOYED NURSING SO MUCH.

BUT OTHER THAN THAT, NO REAL PROBLEMS. SLIGHT DISCOMFORT BUT NO REAL PAIN. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, I WAS TOLD NOT TO LIFT ANYTHING OVER LIKE 25 LBS. FOR A FEW DAYS. THAT'S IT.
